Sucessful Opening!

Walleye season has finally arrived!
Aside from a relatively late ice off, we've sucessfully managed to open camp. All cabins have water, and only three of them need above ground temp-lines. We heard reports that Gullrock is still frozen over, however, the channel betweek Keg and Gullrock Lake is open, and Keg opened up yesturday (16th). Gullrock should not be far behind.
It was only noon when we heard that a 28 inch walleye was caught, as well as numerous walleye over 25.
Had some pretty heavy periods of rain (and even some hail) this afternoon. It has since cleared up and the camp looks deserted as everyone is out on the lake.
